Shung Li
Shung Li is a Xia from Qinglu Village. He is versed in both Southern Mountain and Five Elements styles. He is known by his traveling companions for being untouchable with a quarterstaff and unyielding against those who prey on the innocent.

19 years ago: Father, Shung Ta, killed by a wild animal
15 years ago: Mother, Shung Nie Ting, died natural causes
12 years ago: I leave my only surviving brother, Shung Qiong, to tend the family rice farm; I leave for the Southern Mountain temple
present day: I am a Xia, traveling Zhuang to protect the just and avenge the death of my brother
