Samuel Wohl

Samuel Wohl (b. 2004, Raleigh, North Carolina) is an aeronautical engineer who works for Azimuth as its Director of Space Technologies. Wohl studied aerospace engineering at North Carolina State University, where he obtained both his B.S. and M.S. in the field. As a graduate student, he competed in Azimuth's Brighter Future Program and won, for his theoretical work on laser-assisted mass drivers. His work has since been incorporated into materials engineering, and he helped Azimuth branch into aerospace technology. In addition to serving as Azimuth's Director of Space Technologies, Wohl has been tapped to be the chief engineer aboard Thaumas II, currently being built in the vicinity of the Maldives in the Indian Ocean. At just 38 years old, Wohl is among the younger of the senior executive at Azimuth, along with its CEO, Sarah McKillup. Like the McKillup, Wohl was also a favorite of Hank Logue, Azimuth's co-founder and former CEO.
