Operation Short Reaper

Mission Objective

A strange creature has attacked several people in a mountain village near the border with Pakistan. The creature is believed to inhabit a system of caves in the mountains behind the fields near Birwani village, which is located about ten miles west of Spin Buldak.

Target of Opportunity

Sheik Reza Abdul Mirwaisi, a Muslim clergyman from Iran. Intel says he joined the Taliban in 2008 but may have been in-country since 2006. Intel reports he is associated with Abdul Mirzad, a warlord and smuggler in the border region southwest of Kandahar. Mirwaisi’s army consists of 36 men who operate in three squads of twelve men. One squad is under Mirwaisi’s command, while two others patrol the area. Mirwaisi also controls a smuggling operations which ferries people and product, mostly opium, across the border into Pakistan. Each of his smuggling shipments is accompanied by at least 2 armed guards.
