Uchida Tatsuya

Lord Uchida Tatsuya (b. 703, Tagano village) is the youngest son of the now deceased Uchida Seiho. His elder brother, Uchida Kazuo, was slain in a duel with Ishimaru Tetsuo just prior to his father’s death, leaving him as the heir. Lord Uchida Tatsuya has a reputation for being precociously competent at matters of state.

In the winter of 720, Uchida came under heavy attack from Emishi raiders under the command of the Iron Hand. His holdings were decimated. In the winter of 721, Uchida was ousted from his lands by Nakamura Reizo and Itoh Tadahisa, when they discovered he had been informing on their activities to Lord Ishimaru Katsurou.
