Emily Brandeis

Emily Brandeis knew Emilio Gonzago in college. They dated and lived together, off and on, for several years throught the 1980s and 1990s. Senior year they both worked on a project with Professor Nikos Poluketes. Their relationship after college was sporadic, mostly due to Gonzago’s frequent travels and work on several projects, both corporate and government. They were living together in 2001 when Fred Tangerine had his abduction experience. Gonzago went to Mexico to retrieve his friend, but did not return for several months.

In 2003 she founded the Chaos Institute with Kamil Khan. She was on the board of directors of K2 Enterprises until its sale to David Rucker in 2008. While she opposed the sale of the company, she has used her considerable proceeds to fund a number of small technology start-ups.

Emily owns a number of TL8 and even TL9 devices. She is a bit of a gadget hound. Her office and home are cluttered with various phones, radios, and other electronics.

Emily is a powerful individual, but she is rarely available (6 or less), intervenes minimally and is secret. However, she often provides useful equipment and has access to TL9 technology.
