Robert Bolt (b. 2001 Falmouth, Jamaica) is the Director of Defense at Thaumas I. He is a former Halon officer, having most recently served as the captain of the Submersible Supercarrier, HS Antares. Bolt rose rapidly through the ranks at Halon by way of his heroics in the field. At the time of the attack, Bolt had served in more combat missions than any other Halon officer. Bolt was known for leading from the frontline, a rarity among modern military elite. He was often criticized for this by other officers, but his indisputable courage and impressive list of accomplishments in the field made him popular among his troops, which led to his appointment as the director of defense at Thaumas I.

At Thaumas I, Bolt overseas some 2,400 military personnel and 700 civilian volunteers. Notable groups under his command are Division 20, Scorpion Company, and the 2nd Armored Squadron.
