Wildlands

Almost nothing is known of the Wildlands. The people there are savage and territorial, violently repelling any outsiders. Though they are largely technologically backward, their edged weapons are extremely sharp and can penetrate some armor. Wildlands warriors are said to possess almost inhuman levels of strength and agility. They fight predominantly with spear and shield, though swords and axes are not unknown. They have a long tradition of raiding, often crossing into the territories of the Eastern Kingdoms, from which they are separated by a single large and raging river, known as “Blood River” due to this violent history. There is nothing they will not seize on these raids – except guns: Wildlands inhabitants have an almost superstitious fear of firearms, refusing to touch them and destroying any they find. This dislike of firearms does not impede them in battle, however, and they do not flee from either gunfire or cannon.
