Edward Martin Webster (October 11, 1888 - January 3, 1925) was an occultist and thaumatologist who taught Middle Eastern religions, archaeology and anthropology at USC. He was a close friend of Gerhardt Thuringer and a member of the Brotherhood of Prometheus. A very private individual, Webster lived in a large farmhouse west of Pasadena. He has an extensive private library in his his home and may employ magical methodologies in his research. He was killed in his home by burglars who may have been attempting to steal items from his collection.
