Markus Tullius

Markus Tullius (3023- ) is a scholar and magician from Avondale. Tullius was educated at the Avondale Collegium. He later studied magic under several teachers, including Octavius of Tiro.

While attending a party at Avondale Castle in 3049, Tullius was asked by the baron to perform magic and entertain the guests. Having recently learned teleportation, Tullius chose to amuse guests by teleporting them across the room. The spell failed on Quentin Gault, favorite cousin of Baron who never reappeared and is believed to have been killed in the mishap. As punishment for this deed, Tullius was tried by the White Brotherhood and convicted of the practice of black magic. His birthright protected him from the usual death sentence, but he was exiled to the Argent Vale in 3050.

In 3085, Tullius was instrumental in aiding the First Ranger and her companions. As a reward for his service, Baron Felix Giroux pardoned Tullius of all crimes. Tullius returned to Avondale City to take up a quiet life as a private citizen.

After the appearance of the Greendread in the sumemr of 3085, Tullius was tasked by Octavius of Tiro with assisting in the organizing of the Riverrun Greendread Convocation. Tullius was instrumental in contacting the many sages and magicians who attended the convocation.
