Wild World is a reality game show produced by Robot Messiah Productions. In the show, contestants are isolated in the wilderness for eight weeks where they compete for cash and other prizes. Rather than using progressive elimination to determine the outcome, Wild World contestants receive scores related to their performance in wilderness hiking as well as various competitions. At the conclusion of the show, the viewing audience is able to vote for one of the top three scoring contestants as the winner of the $1,000,000 cash prize. The show is broadcast in three series each year: a spring series, summer series, and fall series.

Unlike similar television programs, no production crew follows the contestants into the wilderness. Instead each participant is equipped with personal recording equipment (including miniature cameras mounted to safety glasses, helmets, and other gear) that records high-definition audio and video. Contestants are required to keep recorders and other monitoring equipment on at all times. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.

Every day contestants upload the previous day's video footage via satellite to production studios in Los Angeles. This footage is edited into a one-hour show, airing nightly and available online. Additional footage is available on the internet.

Contestants may decide to work as a single group, divide into teams, or work alone. Progress of the contestants is monitored via satellite. This results in a different competitive dynamic for every series of the show.

In 2024, contestant Itsu Toshimura was attacked and presumably killed during production of the summer series.
