Kobayashi Natsume is the provincial constable stationed in Kusage Village. He is subordinate directly to the Governor Kiyohara Noburo. In the winter of 720, he participated in a brief campaign against a bandit encampment with Lord Ishimaru Katsurou, demonstrating significant prowess in his contribution to Lord Ishimaru’s overwhelming defeat of the bandits.
