Egg
Eggs are the robotic soldiers of The Enemy. Their designation comes from their shape, which is ovine in nature. Two varieties of Eggs have been documented, the walking triple Eggs (three egg shapes arranged radially and joined at the tip), and the hovering Eggs. Both varieties have a liquid metal exterior and are extremely resistant to damage; the egg-shaped components are each about the size of a minicar. The employ a variety of weapons. All Eggs have fusion weaponry of some sort, and they may each also employ lasers, rockets, radiation beams, bombs, grenades, micromissiles, and even some things not yet understood. Hovering Eggs use contragrav technology and can reach any point on the globe in a matter of hours. Eggs have no regard for personal safety and will fight until destroyed. Documentation on the conflict between French forces and one Egg show it imploding upon destruction, taking much of the surrounding terrain with it (and destroying its attackers in the process).
Rumors of other types of Eggs abound, including alleged accounts of Space Eggs and Extra Large Eggs. These have not been documented.
