Fidel Gonzago

Fidel Gonzago (1845-1878). The one who started it all. Fidel was the first Gonzago to leave the island of Cuba. His father sent him to study the myths and magic of other cultures, particularly the natives of America. A gifted linguist, Fidel became fluent in many Native American tongues. In 1867 he befriended Nathan Flying Horse and became embroiled in the Indian’s personal war with an evil, undead Aztec priest. Fidel managed to help defeat the shaman, but at great cost to himself.
