Tunnel Workers Reported Missing

Six workers digging in the Hollywood Subway tunnel have been reported missing.

Officials stated the six men did not exit the tunnels with the other men in their work detail. A search was made but the workers could not be found.

There were no cave-ins or other incidents that might explain the disappearances.

Four of the men were described by co-workers as “unionists” and were reported to be hard workers. Two of the other men were part of a labor detail from an Angeles Work Farm.

Police are investigating but have no leads or theories at this time.
