Map of the continent, showing political divisions along with common languages and dialects. Areas depicted in gold are the dominion of the Holy Church.

The Continent is the common term of reference for what we know today as Europe. Some also refer to it as the Holy Empire, or simply The Empire, in reference to the dominion of the Holy Church.
