Scientia Veris

Scientia Veris, referred to commonly as "the SV," is a society of non-military scientists and engineers with its origins in the university system of pre-fall civilization. Almost any former city that hosted a college or university will have at least one "school," consisting of a few learned souls associated with the SV. Former large universities or cities may host "campuses" consisting of several scientists, public schools, and even housing for scholars. Campuses are usually protected local militia, though this is always through mutual assent rather than military dominance.
