Lord Itoh Tadahisa (b. 693, Kondo town) is the second son of Itoh Kosho. He succeeded his father as the lord of Kondo town and its environs in the summer of 721. At the time of his father's death, Itoh Tadahisa was assisting lords Nakamura Reizo and Uchida Tatsuya in a minor campaign against some Emishi villages in the Ou mountains, at the command of Governor Kiyohara Noburo. Tadahisa married Nakamura Keiko in the fall of 721.
