Lord Ishimaru Takanobu (d. 718) was the former head of the Ishimaru clan of northern Dewa. He died in battle in Mutsu two years ago in one of Governor [[Kiyohara Noburo]] military campaigns in that region. He is survived by his sons, Ishimaru Katsurou and Ishimaru Tetsuo.
