Players whose character has Military Rank 4 or greater, or possesses Leadership skill, who wish to improve said Rank or Skill, must run at least one NPC of Military Rank 1-3 during at least one mission, in addition to their usual player character. In-game this NPC must be subordinate in to player character and will function in subservient capacity to player character. Satisfactory run of NPC will result in dedicated reward of 2 points toward either Military Rank or Leadership skill. Failure to successfully operate NPC will not only result in no award but may, if due to incompetent action, result in courts martial and reduction of Rank or Leadership skill of NPC's commander. (Death of NPC does not necessarily equate to failure, but it doesn't help things.)
