Miyako (b. 707, Kokayo village) is the daughter of a trapper who was taught to use a bow from an early age. She entered an archery competition in the late fall of 721 at the wedding festivities of Itoh Tadahisa and Nakamura Keiko, and defeated renown archer, Akira Karasu, in the final round.
In the winter of 721, following Lord Ishimaru Katsurou's defeat of Nakamura Reizo, Akira purchased Miyako from her father, and has since been keeping her at his house near Kusage village.
