OSI Special Operations Group 0 (OSI/SOG-0), also known as "Team Zero," is a deep-cover special activities team tasked with operations that include the suppression of new and foreign technologies and the pursuit and interdiction of teratoids, cryptids, and xenomorphs. In addition to seasoned field operatives to perform necessary wetwork, Team Zero also consists of specialists in foreign technology who advise and sometimes oversee missions. Team Zero experiences extremely high turnover of personnel due to the fact that service on the team usually results in madness, crippling, or death.
Team Zero agents received intensive specialized individual training and instruction at a secret facility known as The Farm. This special training consists of intensive classroom education and laboratory work in various scientific disciplines as well as traditional investigative training associated with field agents. Additional field agency training may be completed at Quantico or by special assignment at the Farm from a variety of military and martial arts instructors.
