December 31, 1965

The future teammates meet for the first time and join forces to defuse a spell bomb, disguised as an antique radio and originally created by Xavier Hellestromme. They are introduced to Caliban Holmes and offered a place to stay at the Promethean Institute.

January 4, 1965

After meeting with Ms. Carter for the first time, the team is given special equipment from the Warehouse and sent to investigate a mansion in Pasadena that appears to be the focus of unexplained psychic or magical phenomena.

January 5, 1965

The team returns to the Jansen House to investigate further. They encounter and successfully subdue an agent of the OSI. However, they realize Agent Childes is their friend and decide to leave before his team shows up and any further misunderstandings should develop.

January 6, 1965

Alexander Tophet begins tenure as full-time instructor at the Promethean Institute.

January 11, 1965

Laleh Salehi is hired to provide lessons in Persian cooking to Holmes and anyone else interested.

January 18, 1965

Elaine, Genda, and Kuranes begin searching for items from the Benton Tuttle estate.

January 20, 1965

Following leads to a possibly possessed Polynesian mask, Genda auditions for the part of the monster in an upcoming film production to be directed by William Tuttle. Elaine purchases the Hearst Gun from a private citizen.

January 21, 1965

The team traces the Red Book to Bixby's Booksop in Hollywood and discovers the book may have been stolen from Bixby's safe by Xavier Hellestromme. They meet Anaximander and encounter the enigma of Anaximander's Maps.

January 23, 1965

The team investigates Marjorie Cameron at the Ambassador Hotel on Wilshire Boulevard. Later they meet Cameron at her studio in Santa Monica. She invites them to the Blue Lotus where they meet Nick Licata, a high-level member of organized crime as well as Cameron's business partner and reported lover. While reading the newspaper, Lisa notices the second of two Actor Suicides in Los Angeles actor suicides in Los Angeles.

January 25, 1965

While investigating the recent suicides of two actors, the team encounters Emperor Jones. They recover an apparently enchanted bowl, though analysis indicated the magic is Not Of This World.

January 26th, 1965

The team investigates young investor Thomas Vanlandingham and discovers he is the owner of The Primer of Apprenticeship in the Arts Mystic and an aspiring magician.

January 27th, 1965

The team returns to Pasadena House and attempts to contact the entity trapped in the double-pentagram room. They begin following up on leads obtained by Kuranes through dream divination.

January 28th, 1965

Contacted by foundation associate Teddy Nadler, the team travels to Cave City to investigate the disappearance of several townspeople, which may be associated with a dybbuk box constructed by a 16th century alchemist.
