The bar was destroyed in 1926 at the onset of the Fire Magic Wars. A confrontation between two competing factions of firecasters resulted in the total destruction of the interior of the bar. Green himself was thought to be killed in the fracas along with eight other magicians and occultists, including Gerry Gardner and Phil Rosario.

Members of the Choronzon Club held their monthly meetings at Magic Moe's. Green was a member of the club and would close the bar during these occasions.

In June of 1965 official notices were posted in the windows of the empty storefront that currently occupies the former location of Magic Moes, indicating the upcoming opening of a bar or restaurant at the address.
