Angel City Times Tuesday, April 15, 1924 |
Six workers digging in the Hollywood Subway tunnel have been reported missing. |
Officials stated the six men did not exit the tunnels with the other men in their work detail. A search was made but the workers could not be found. |
There were no cave-ins or other incidents that might explain the disappearances. |
Four of the men were described by co-workers as “unionists” and were reported to be hard workers. Two of the other men were part of a labor detail from an Angeles Work Farm. |
Police are investigating but have no leads or theories at this time. |
