Facilities

The offices are secured behind a coded-entry door discretely labeled "Special Investigations" that is itself located behind the receptionist desk in the main lobby. Each individual office is equipped with office furniture, telephone, desktop adding machine, and electric typewriter.

Office communications systems include automation-capable 24-line PBX phone system, two secure Telex terminals, two IBM Magnafax Telecopiers, and an encrypted radio transmitter. Duplicating services include an IBM automatic typewriter and two photocopiers (HT 19).

State-of-the-art computer systems have been installed in the Occidental building. This Complexity-2 mainframe system (HT 20) is owned and maintained by Transamerica Corporation and includes access to Occidental Insurance and Bank of America records as well as the records of other Transamerica company holdings. Two terminal connections to the Transmamerica mainframe computer are located in the Team Zero office.

Technical and Secure Services facilities for Team Zero are located on secure subterranean levels beneath the parking levels of Occidental Center.

Integrated Adaptive Macroframe Computer (Complexity-3), 100 TB storage capacity (Magnetic tape storage, 1-3 MB tapes). Manufactured by International Business Machines. Multiple communication interface ports including telephone, radio, television, satellite, and microwave capability.

Secure Facilities

The vault includes sixteen wall-mounted storage units designed by Keaton Industries. Six portable storage containers are also kept here when not in use. Four secure display globes are also stored here when not in use.

Seven holding cells are located here for temporary confinement of any humans or xenomorphs who must be kept under extreme security. Six cells are each capable of holding creatures who are SM+2 or smaller, while the seventh unit can hold xenomorphs up to SM+6 if necessary.
